AUDIT PROTOCOL

Website audit with problem map and action backlog

Practical diagnostics: UX, conversion, speed, SEO, and security — not an abstract «report for report's sake», but a prioritized backlog with business impact scores and a 30/60/90-day plan.

SolidWeb audits sites on WordPress, Tilda, Next.js, and legacy stacks. Deliverables: PDF, severity-ranked issue table (Critical / High / Medium), review call, and recommendations on what to fix in-house vs. with our team.

  • Offer clarity and path to CTA
  • UX friction and navigation dead ends
  • Speed bottlenecks and Core Web Vitals
  • Technical SEO and indexation errors
  • Form conversion and trust gaps
  • Mobile experience and responsiveness
  • Security and SSL / headers
  • Content: duplicates, thin pages, E-E-A-T
  • Analytics and conversion goals
  • Basic accessibility (a11y)
AUDIT AREAS

Six diagnostic areas

Each area produces a separate findings block with severity and recommendations.

01

UX and conversion

Funnel, CTAs, forms, trust, mobile experience, heatmap hypotheses, and user drop-off points.

02

SEO and indexation

Crawl, duplicates, canonicals, meta, schema, sitemap, Search Console and Yandex Webmaster.

03

Core Web Vitals

LCP, INP, CLS in lab and field, critical render path, images, fonts, third-party scripts.

04

Content and E-E-A-T

Thin content, duplicates, H1–H3 structure, commercial factors, authorship and proof blocks.

05

Security

SSL, security headers, outdated dependencies, forms, and data leaks in public code.

06

Analytics

GA4, Yandex Metrica, goals, UTMs, e-commerce, CRM mismatches, and reporting blind spots.

PROCESS

How the audit runs

From brief to review call — fixed stages and transparent timelines.

1

Brief and access

Discovery call, audit goals, analytics, Search Console, hosting, and staging access if needed.

2

Automated crawl

Screaming Frog, Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, SSL and security header checks.

3

Manual UX review

Key journeys on desktop and mobile, forms, CTAs, navigation, and trust blocks.

4

SEO and CWV analysis

Indexation, duplicates, CWV lab/field, third-party scripts, stack recommendations.

5

Report assembly

PDF, severity table, 30/60/90 backlog, effort estimate and owner per task.

6

Review call

60–90 minutes: priorities, quick wins, what to hand to SolidWeb for implementation.

OUTPUT

What's in the deliverable

Documents you can act on without us — or hand to us for implementation.

  • PDF report

50+ pages: findings by area, screenshots, tool links, explanations for non-technical teams.

  • Backlog spreadsheet

Jira/Notion-ready: severity, effort, owner, 30/60/90 timeline, expected impact.

  • Problem map

Visual grouping by UX, SEO, CWV, content, security, analytics.

  • Review call

Recording and summary: top 5 quick wins and next-step recommendation (fix / redesign / retainer).

FAQ

Site audit FAQ

Timelines, access, difference from SEO audit, and what to do after the report.

Lighthouse gives automated metrics for one page. Our audit crawls the full site, manual UX review, SEO, content, security, analytics, and a prioritized backlog with business impact. The PDF explains «what to do» and «in what order», not just «what's red in Lighthouse».

Critical — blocker: no indexation, broken form, vulnerability. High — strong SEO, speed, or trust impact, 30-day plan. Medium — improvements without urgent risk, 60–90 day backlog. Every finding in the table has one level.

DEEP DIVE

How SolidWeb runs a website audit

Methodology, tools, and deliverable format — no filler in the report.

A SolidWeb site audit is not a Lighthouse screenshot or «everything is bad, let's rebuild». It's structured diagnostics across six areas with severity, business impact, and a 30/60/90-day backlog. Every finding ties to an action and effort estimate.

We start with a brief: why audit, which metrics hurt, what was tried. We fix KPIs — form conversion, organic traffic, LCP, bounce rate — so post-implementation effect can be measured.

Screaming Frog crawl covers up to 500 URLs in Full (unlimited in Enterprise): statuses, title/description, duplicates, canonicals, redirects, images without alt. Lighthouse and PageSpeed — key template samples.

Manual UX review isn't replaced by bots. We walk «home → service → form» on iPhone and desktop, check CTAs, trust, mobile forms, navigation dead ends. We formulate heatmap hypotheses even without Hotjar access.

SEO block: Search Console, indexation, schema, internal links. CWV: LCP, INP, CLS, third-party scripts, render-blocking. Content: thin pages, E-E-A-T, commercial factors. Security: SSL Labs, headers, outdated plugins.

Severity — three levels. Critical tops the report and review call. High — 30-day plan with expected impact («+15% form submit after trust block fix»). Medium — backlog without urgency.

PDF is written for CEO and marketing, not only developers. Each finding has a screenshot, tool link, plain-language recommendation. Technical specs — appendix for dev team.

After audit three paths: quick wins in-house, SolidWeb implementation sprint (CWV, forms, SEO fix), full redesign or Next.js migration. We don't push — on the call we honestly assess ROI per path.

Difference from «SEO» service: ongoing promotion. Site audit is a one-time snapshot with backlog. From «Core Web Vitals» — execution sprint on speed. Audit maps the whole site including UX and analytics.
